1206 (Mercian) Squadron Civilian Committee

One of the main roles of the Squadron's Civilian Committee is to help finance cadet activities and the purchasing of associated equipment. Only limited funding is available to us through official channels so a significant proportion of Squadron funds needs to be generated through donations, grants and by cadet and Civilian Committee fundraising activities. In the past this has lead to the purchase of a new mini-bus, new computer equipment and to help keep subscriptions low.

 

The Civilian Committee also act in an advisory role and ensure that the financial management and all legal elements of the Squadron are run according to the relevant regulations and statutes.
